The Alberta Association of Nurses invites nominations for President-Elect, and seven board directors. The deadline to submit is March 14, 2026.

Board Directors:  We are seeking seven board directors: LPN (2), NP(2), RPN (2) and RN (1). All seven director positions are for a two-year term, with the option to seek a second, two-year term.

President Elect: The position is a four-year term, two years as the President Elect followed by two years as the President.

• Nomination submission: Interested candidates must complete the nomination form and submit it along with their AAN membership number and the names & membership numbers of two references to [email protected] no later than March 14, 2026 to be included in the nomination process.
• Nominee presentations: AAN members will have the opportunity to attend a virtual session where nominees will deliver brief presentations outlining their qualifications and vision for the role. More details on the nominee presentations & dates to follow.
• Voting: The election will take place prior to the AGM on May 8, 2026, and the successful candidate will officially begin their term following the AGM.
