2. Renew CNPS PLP
- If you haven’t registered with CNPS before, you can create a MyCNPS account at my.cnps.ca/s/login/SelfRegister.
OR
- Sign in to your MyCNPS account at https://my.cnps.ca/.
- Have you registered for CNPS PLP in the past? Use the same email to log into your pre-existing MyCNPS account.
- Once logged in, click ‘Register or Renew’ and follow the instructions.
Troubleshooting
- I put my AAN number into MyCNPS portal and got an error message: “Association Check Failed.” Why am I getting this error?
- Ensure your AAN number is entered correctly into the MyCNPS portal.
- Ensure your AAN membership is renewed for the current year.
- Ensure your AAN membership type is Active Standard Membership and not a Student Membership or Retired Membership. If your membership is a Student or Retired membership and is already renewed, contact [email protected] to change to an Active Membership.
- In your AAN account, ensure the Primary Nursing Designation is listed as Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. Ensure CRNA is listed as the licensing college and that your CRNA license number is correct.
- If you have multiple designations, make sure your RN designation is listed as the primary designation. (For example, if you hold an LPN and RN designation and have both listed on your profile, make sure the RN license is listed first as your primary designation).
