Renew your annual AAN membership today!

Did you know that Alberta Association of Nurses (AAN) memberships expired May 1, 2024? (AAN membership term is May 1 – April 30).

Join us for another outstanding year of benefits, advocacy, and professional development.

How to renew:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click “Renewals” on the top left navy blue bar.
  3. Select your membership type.
    1. Either as an Active Member – Auto Renewal, Active Member – Standard, Retired Member – Auto Renewal, Retired Member – Standard, or Student Member. 
    2. If you aren’t sure if you’re eligible for a student membership, please refer to our FAQ.
  4. Proceed to your cart and finalize payment.

 

Why choose auto-renewal?

  • Efficiency: Once you enter your details and preferred payment method, your AAN membership will automatically renew each year in May. You no longer need to remember renewal dates and logins.  
  • Spread-out payments: The auto-renewal payment occurs in May, further away from other renewal and registration fees for nursing licensing bodies, making budgeting easier.
  • Full-year membership: Your membership will automatically rollover in May, remaining active year-round without interrupting your benefits. 

How does auto-renewal work?

  1. Opt-in: Click ‘Renewals’ and select the auto-renewal option.
    1. (*You will receive an email reminder prior to auto-renewal the next year. If situations change, you can opt out of auto-renewal at any time.)
  2. Automatic billing: After you sign up, your membership fees will be automatically charged to your preferred payment method.
  3. Enjoy the benefits: Focus on what matters most—your professional growth and engagement with the AAN community. Your AAN membership will remain active year-round without any interruptions.
