$20.00

The introduction of MAID as a new end of life option has required enormous practical, moral, and emotional calibration for nurses involved in care. In this presentation we will share some of those experiences including how nurses decide to become involved or not, their experiences of that practice, and practical wisdom for providing high quality care. We will further describe some of the challenges nurses face with the implications of the evolving legislation expanding the options for MAID eligibility to a wider range of clinical contexts.
